PBVS-273: An Introduction to the Theory of Subvolition (Primary Psychology)–PART 1 Volume One

from $29.95

Primary psychology, developed by Andrew J. Galambos, is a new integrative approach to an older discipline of psychology, where the new inputs are drawn from physics and its derivative, volitional science. Galambos’ approach to psychology is from a fundamentally different point of view than that of the past. However, the conclusions from this approach to psychology are not intended to take issue with the older conclusions of psychology obtained from biological, medical, and clinical points of view. Undoubtedly, there will be further developments to connect and integrate the two approaches to psychology in the future.

Prof. Galambos presented this new approach to psychology to live audiences beginning in the year 1975. This 8-volume series (PBVS-273, volumes 1-8) contains the first 40 sessions of the course PBVS-273: An Introduction to the Theory of Subvolition (Primary Psychology)—Part I. This is the first application of the professor’s theory of primary property to the subject of psychology. PBVS-274: An Introduction to the Theory of Subvolition (Primary Psychology)—Part II (also 40 sessions, containing volumes 9-16) is the second part of his theory of primary psychology. PBVS-275 is the third and concluding part of this theory.

The course title explicitly indicates that physics (P) is the governing science and that biology (B) and volition (V) are downstream derivatives from physics, and that subvolition (S) (“primary psychology”) is a subscience of physics, biology, and volition in the knowledge flowstream. This approach is based upon Galambos’ development of volitional science (course V-50) and the theory of primary property (course V-201), which originally were only available in oral and taped form. Today, courses V-50 and V-201 are available in written form in Galambos’ 15-volume magnum opus Sic Itur Ad Astra published by Spaceland Publications in 2024. These courses are the basis for these new insights into psychology, which determine the sources of various behavioral characteristics of human beings.

V-50 and V-201 were prerequisites for anyone wishing to enroll in Galambos’ psychology course because they provide absolute criteria as to what constitutes right behavior based upon concepts of positive property. Therefore, a preliminary understanding of the concept of absolute right is an essential foundation for a proper understanding of this theory of psychology. This is a truly scientific approach with semantic precision and universal standards for rational thought and morally sound action established, leading to an understanding of what right behavior and thinking is on an absolute basis. When rooted in the strength of a positive ego, civilizational progress can begin. This approach also enables one to clearly identify the aberrant thinking and behavior that is responsible for the problems of humanity today.

Book 1 contains PBVS-273 Sessions 1 through 5. A few of the many topics the professor discusses are:

  • The distinction between psychology and psychiatry

  • The one and only psychological disease and its cure

  • The distinction between thoughts, ideas, rationality and emotion in relation to behavior

  • Capitalism vs. socialism; happiness vs. unhappiness; good vs. bad; health vs. disease; right vs. wrong; God, religion, atheism, agnosticism; long and short-term attitudes in relation to trivial, personal, species and cosmic timescales; durability and non-durability of civilizations … and much, much more!

Spaceland Publications encourages you to master these new, revolutionary and durable theories of Andrew J. Galambos. You will profit from this course and it will change how you envision yourself and the world around you.We welcome you to join us in our quest to ensure the survival, expansion and advancement of Western Civilization.
